June update

I’m sorry I haven’t posted an update in a while. The end of the school year, and me teaching summer school and working with clients has consumed me for the past month or so.  At this time, we believe Ellie’s surgery was a success. Answered prayer! Ellie reports that she is able to eat without pain. The prayer we have been praying for years and years has been answered. In God’s timing, not our own. Through this long journey of suffering, heartache and stress, God has brought us friends we wouldn’t otherwise have, grown our faith, and brought us closer as a family. He has given me a boldness to share my faith with others. Praise you, Jesus!  It has been such a pleasure for me to watch Ellie eat. She loves buffalo chicken dip, ice cream, cereal, chips, candy, toast with butter, and many more things. That’s just what I can think of. Ellie has also been learning how to deal with having an ostomy - which is a lot for someone her age. She’s handled it with strength and grace. ...
