Things will look different here

 I just got a call that Ellie is getting discharged this afternoon! She’s on her way home as I write this. The medical supply pharmacy called and  all of her supplies will be delivered to our house tonight. This is a big change for us, but something we will get used to. Ellie’s feed runs very slowly so it will be running 24/7. She can unhook for a shower, but that’s it. Otherwise, she’s tethered to her feed and her pump at all times. The medical supply pharmacy will send a backpack so she can carry it around with her.  I hope for Ellie’s sake, she won’t get too many stares when we are out and about. 

We head to Pittsburgh again on Thursday for testing that Dr. Cruz ordered. (The fancy Dr with a lot of titles). We  have to be there by 8:45 so we will be leaving really early. Then, next week we finally see Dr Cruz. I am praying we get answers and solutions. 

So, in a couple of hours she’ll be home! She already received a few Amazon packages so she will have some things to keep her busy.
