Good news

 Short update… Mike took Ellie for an xray today to check the placement of her tube. Praise God it is still in the correct place! I messaged back and forth with her doctor and he determined she needs a less dense formula so we will be trying something new. Since she hasn’t been hooked up for feeds since Friday, and has been eating by mouth, her stomach is very distended and she can’t really have a good bowel movement. This is causing her a lot of pain and discomfort. Here is a picture she took: 

When she found out I don’t have work tomorrow (snow day), she cheered and threw herself into my arms. She said she was happy to have her mom home another day. I am so grateful for the extra day at home.
